Julian Blades is cinematographer and 1st AC whose journey into filmmaking started at 15 when I got my first camera and began creating personal and passion projects with friends. What started as a creative hobby quickly turned into a deep passion for storytelling, cinematography, and the technical craft behind production. In 2022, I launched my first freelance production business, which steadily grew from local client work into opportunities with larger companies & film productions. Over the years, I’ve developed experience across feature films, documentaries, live productions, while building strong skills in assistant camera work, operating and on-set workflow. Whether I’m behind the camera as a videographer or supporting a production as a 1st AC, I enjoy being part of the creative process, collaborating with great people, and bringing ideas to life through visuals.
